Throughout August 2026, the “Stop TB Partnership Ukraine” held a series of five free online webinars titled “From Institutional Capacity to Financial Sustainability: Strengthening the Role of CSOs in the TB Response.” The initiative aimed to support the development of civil society organizations and strengthen their institutional capacity and financial sustainability.

Although the series was thematically focused on the TB response, the practical approaches and tools presented during the sessions proved useful for a wide range of civil society organizations, regardless of their field of activity.

The series was facilitated by Kateryna Ryzhkova-Siebielieva, an expert in organizational development, project management, and fundraising with over 8 years of experience working with civil society organizations, communities, and businesses.

Held webinars covered topics:

August 6 — Building an Effective Organization and Its Role in Strengthening the TB Response. Participants discussed what truly makes an organization strong: not the number of grants, but the ability to make decisions and build consistent activities in line with the organization’s mission and vision.

August 11 — Organizational Financial Sustainability and Resource Diversification. The discussion focused on how to turn CSOs’ expertise and networks into real sources of funding, as well as how to build lasting partnerships with businesses.

August 18 — Grant Writing and Project Management: From Application to Implementation. Participants explored how to turn an idea into a coherent project logic and prepare for the challenges of the project cycle.

August 20 — Advocacy for Community-Level Decisions and Local Fundraising.

August 27 — Strategic Development and Sustainability of Organizations in the Field of TB Response.

Around 60 representatives of national and international organizations working on the TB response registered to participate in the webinars.
